Welcome to Hi5 Creatives, the first under-served communities social enterprise incubation organisation in Nigeria.
A Peep into our Background
HI5 Creatives is the result of partnership between TGI (The GREAT initiative) a female-focused organization setup to empower young people, especially women and girls with vocational and life building skills, and Colours Initiatives, which was created to empower young people with needed skills especially in the area of reproductive health. HI5 Creatives was created to solve the two problems each organisation was solving in a more innovative way with few new dynamics and strategies focusing solely on combating poverty and its effects on gender equality and good health of young women and girls.
THE HI5 DREAM
Our movement aims to decrease the rates of poverty all around the world. Our goal is to impact as many lives as possible and ensure the bright future for those who are at the breadline. We want to celebrate the end of inequalities, illiteracy, and disease with you.
No more Inequalities
Millions of people are still living in extreme poverty because of inequalities in terms of exposure, information and access to support. We invest the money you donate to sustainable projects that cater to the development of women and girls in hard to reach communities from all over the world while closing the gaps of inequalities.
No more Illiteracy
We strongly support access to education by all. This is why we set up advanced business schools in communities to equip women and girls with business and 21st century skills needed for them to thrive in their various ventures and gain access to a brighter future.
No more Disease
We know women ad children are more susceptible to diseases and we tackle this problem head-on by equipping women with enough information to make informed decision about their reproductive health. We also work with reputable organisations in supplying food supplement to malnourished children in rural communities in the world.

We are creating a tribe of highly skilled and empowered young women and girls who have valuable products that are provided the opportunity for business linkages both in the urban areas and internationally while creating more jobs. HI5 Creatives is designed to boost the productivity of traditional economic sectors, while fostering the occupational and geographical mobility of workers. Achieving this is made possible through the donations of equally passionate citizens from all over the world who donate their money, time, and skills to support our efforts, crating a ripple effect of impact .

Our Success Timeline
Every organisation has its own establishment story. Not being an exception we share with you our success story, from the very beginning till nowadays. We are happy and proud of our failures and successes which marked our correct path.
After 3 years of consistent process of evolving, Hi5 Creatives started the journey of obtaining its legal identity in Nigeria. The organisation did a full revamp of programs and projects to achieve more focused impact, in addition to existing services is Social Entrepreneurship program for existing businesses across Africa to aid the fast development of the continent.
In Nigeria, the organisation has a national coverage of key communities from each of the three regions of the country on programs and projects basis birthed from partnerships with organisations focused in these areas. We finally adopted Otto community to test the first phase of our community incubation project in Lagos, Nigeria.
Our success was a great motivation to continue improving communities across the world. We had our first community intervention program in Malaysia, empowering girls and women with entrepreneurial skills to develop their existing businesses. Over 120 women and girls were reached with this intervention project.
The organisation launched with its first week-long training program in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. We were able to empower 40 young people who participated in the training. They were equipped with vocational skills , leadership and life building skills. The success of our first project was made possible through our partnership with our mentor organisation, Kids and Teens Resource Centre, Akure Office.

Events and Projects
We have successfully completed more than 40 impactful events and projects all over the world in partnership with equally passionate organisations, businesses and individuals.
Empower Igbobi Community
Our primary target audience are women and girls in rural areas and we work tirelessly to ensure they gain access to development through skills acquisition and other form of empowerment training. In light of this, we were at Igbobi, a riverine community in Ondo state in August, 2018 to empower young people with vocational and entrepreneurial skills. The project was carried out in partnership with Kids&Teens Resource Centre, Yindi Home of Fashion, Distinct Confectionery, and key community stakeholders, who all supported with mobilization and implementation of the project.
Empower Bariga Community
We moved our entrepreneurship skills train to Lagos in September, 2018, and we have since trained over 120 out-of-school girls and women on business skills, vocational skills and Leadership. 10 out of these women and girls have now gone back to school while doing a business that could sustain their educational ambition on the side. We carried out this project successfully in partnership with ICCDI, Lagos Ministry of Health, and Bariga Local Council Development Area. We adopted Otto Community for our first incubation program in 2019, the program, which is still ongoing aims to empower 200 girls in the community.
Children Caravan
In order to promote inclusion for brighter future of children, Kids & Teens Resource Center in collaboration with Hi5 Creatives organized a program tagged 2018 Children Caravan programme. The program was majorly for the children and teenagers from the rural communities around Akure, Ondo State such as Ipinsa, Ilu-Abo, Ikota, Ilado, and Aponmu. The children who were lodged in hotel were also shown exotic sites in Akure and skilled up. After the program, their feedback were quite positive as they expressed that they were beginning to see life differently as a place with many possibilities and opportunities.
